In any case, it took me OVER TWO HOURS to complete and I was feeling completely spent by the end. I managed to defend my base fine, but they MASSACRED me every time I moved against their larger encampments and in the end I ran out of gold (and Jaina’s base did too!) only destroying around 3/4 of their bases… So I did a desperate run with Thrall and Cairne right up to Grom, catching him and then running back to Jaina. That was probably the first time I considered I may not be able to finish it on hard. „By Demons be driven”, the last orc mission. Nonetheless, I think I lost the kodo like 10 times and finishing the mission took me more than an hour That might’ve been due to my stubborn attempts to fight all the creeps, though – particularly the Centaur Chan with the Reincartaion was a pain, but he dropped the Pendant of Mana, which was a cool item. The Orc campaign started… poorly… I had A LOT of trouble in the second mission already, „The Long March”, where you had to protect the kodo beasts. It annoyed me a lot, because I thought I was doing so well up until this point I failed it like 3 times, and each of these times I only did falter in the last MINUTE OR SO, with Kel’thuzad dying in that last attack. The Undead campaign was manageable, up until… Under the Burning Sky, the last Undead mission, which was really hardcore. But it wasn’t too frustrating or that hard I only failed once in the last mission, Frostmourne, wasting too many of my units against Mal’ganis and letting his counter-attack destroy my base. The rest of the Human campaign was… okay. (There’s a timestamp in the description for the last piece of action with the last farm) ![]() I might’ve been too stingy with units or something, but I’ve failed this mission three consecutive times, and on the fourth time I only won by a RIDDICULOUSLY THIN MARGIN – I had Arthas and one farm left. The first mission that proved surprisingly difficult for me was the „March of the Scourge”, 5th mission of the Human Campaign, where you had to defend Hearthglen for 30 minutes. In fact – I had serious problems with some missions, but managed to succeed in the end without lowering the difficulty. I think I would’ve remembered, because… It was… more difficult than I anticipated. To be honest I don’t REMEMBER if I ever finished it on hard. I’ve finished Warcraft 3 a couple of times before, but I decided to replay it again on hard difficulty recently.
